Manual checks
Each site has a checklist of things a person must review, such as keyboard access, focus order, meaningful text alternatives and captions. For each check, record the result and a note. Manual results appear in reports and statements next to the automated findings.
Accessibility statements
Open the site's Statement page and choose:
- the language (English, Swedish, German, Dutch or French),
- the organization's name and contact details for feedback,
- how users can report problems.
AccessWatch fills in the conformance status and the known problems from the latest scan and manual checks. Publish it on the hosted page, or export HTML or Markdown to put on the client's own site.
The statement updates after each scan. Check it before publishing: it describes the results you have recorded, and the client remains responsible for what it says.
